Profit Potential
Two men can produce 300sq.ft of stone per day. They begin by removing the stone from the molds and stacking them on a pallet for curing. Next, the empty mold tray is placed on a roller conveyor and color pigment is added. Finally, the mix is prepared and poured into the molds. Depending on the temperature and humidity, the stone is left to cure in the molds for 16 - 24 hours.
The following scenario is based on two (2) people producing 300 square feet of stone in 8 hours. (You may choose to start smaller with the 100 or 200 sq. ft. mold package.) As your operation grows you can easily expand to meet your future needs. We do not mean to limit your thinking, as it is very affordable and profitable to operate a 1000 sq. ft./day operation. We only want to make this business feasible and affordable whatever scale you choose to start with.
